The Camilli Quartet is a London based all-female string quartet which performs recitals and at weddings, corporate events and recording sessions across UK. The Quartet has a wide and varied repertoire suited to any occasion, ranging from classical music to arrangements of pop, jazz and film selections, as well as specialising in arranging traditional folk music from around the country. Formed while studying at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, the quartet is made up of experienced chamber and solo musicians, who are guaranteed to add a touch of elegance and sparkle to your event.

Nandita Bhatia ~ Violin

Nandita began her musical studies at the age of seven in Baldock, Hertfordshire. She graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Music (BMus) from King's College London in 2009.

Whilst at King's, she studied violin with Diana Cummings at The Royal Academy of Music. She has since completed a Masters in Violin Performance with Clare Thompson at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and dance, where she performed in masterclasses with violinists Andrew Haveron and Boris Brovtsyn, as well as the Wihan Quartet and Benyounes Quartet. Nandita is working towards a Postgraduate Artist Diploma at Trinity Laban, continuing her studies with Clare Thompson.

Nandita undertakes freelance work with various orchestras in and around London, and also teaches violin and piano in London and Hertfordshire.
As a composer, she has had a number of her works performed and recorded, including a recording and workshop with the contemporary ensemble Lontano.

Erin Smith ~ Violin

Erin started playing the violin at the age of four with Jean-Ann Callender. By twelve, she had performed on TV and Radio, and in the Scottish and British Parliaments on many occasions. She has won over 200 Scottish competitions and also competed in the 2002 Glenfiddich Championships at the age of fourteen.
She has toured all over the UK and Europe with the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland, and has twice won the Daughter of Dewar Award.

Erin graduated from the Royal Academy of Music, London in 2011, where where she studied with the late Howard Davis and Diana Cummings, with whom she continued her studies whilst completing her Masters Degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2013. She obtained her teaching Diploma while at the Royal Academy of Music and has worked with top conductors including Sir Mark Elder, Sir Simon Rattle and the late Vermon Handley.

Erin has recently released her debut CD of Scottish fiddle music, "The Lass O' Bon Accord".

Elin Parry ~ Viola

Born in South Wales, Elin began her musical life studying violin at the Junior Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama at the age of four. Since then, she has received tuition from Edmund Wilson, who was instrumental in introducing her to the viola at the age of eight, and Harry Cawood. Elin recently completed her Bachelor of Music degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, studying with Dr Rivka Golani. Elin is continuing her viola studies with Dr Golani at Trinity Laban, where she has been awarded a scholarship to work towards a Masters.

Elin is a keen orchestral and chamber musician, playing with ensembles including the college Symphony Orchestra, the London Firebird Orchestra and as a principal viola of the National Youth Orchestra of Wales. She has played in many prestigious venues in the UK and abroad, including Hoddinot Hall, St David's Hall, the Sage Gateshead, the Royal Albert Hall, the Berlin Konzerthaus and Carnegie Hall. She has also received coaching and guidance from Ofer Falk of the Allegri String Quartet, Levon Chilingirian of the Chilingirian Quartet and with Ales Kasprik and Jiri Zigmund of the Wihan Quartet.

Olivia Clayton ~ Cello

Olivia began learning the cello at the age of four. She recently graduated with a BMus in Cello Performance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and dance, where she won an entrance award, studying with Richard Markson. Whilst at Trinity, Olivia participated in masterclasses with renowned cellists including Leonard Elchenbroich, Alexander Ivashkin, Julien Lloyd Webber and a quartet masterclass with Jan Schulmeister from the Wihan Quartet.

Olivia has been awarded a scholarship to study for a Masters in Cello Performance at Trinity Laban, where she will continue learning with Richard Markson
Olivia performs regularly with a variety of London orchestras, such as the Amadeus Orchestra and the London Arts Orchestra.

She has performed in a number of prestigious venues across the UK, including Cadogan hall and Snape Maltings, as well as on tours across Italy and China. Alongside her performing work, Olivia also teaches cello in London.
